Your Content is Probably Wasting Everyone’s Time…

Let’s be real for a second.
Your social media content should be doing ONE thing:
Moving prospects closer to buying from you.
That’s it.
But instead, most people are out here…
- Posting random motivational quotes they found on Pinterest
- Sharing what they ate for breakfast
- Humble bragging about their “morning routine”
- Writing cryptic posts about “big things coming”
None of that drives revenue.
Here’s what your content SHOULD be doing:
- Answering the ACTUAL questions swimming around in your prospect’s head
- Removing objections before they can voice them
- Showing proof that your stuff works (through client results)
- Making you seem like a normal human being people want to work with
- Being genuinely fun and lighthearted (nobody wants to work with a robot)
- Jumping into the conversation inside their head.
- Building trust along the way….
Because here’s the thing…
Your prospects aren’t just buying your service.
They’re buying YOU.
And nobody wants to work with someone who takes themselves too seriously 24/7.
But everything else? Just noise in the feed.
Sure, you might get a few likes…
Maybe even some “meaningful” engagement…
But if your content isn’t actively moving people toward a sale…
You’re just creating expensive diary entries.
And last time I checked…
Likes don’t pay the bills.
Quick test:
Look at your last 5 posts.
- Did ANY of them address your prospects’ real concerns?
- Show how you’ve helped others get results?
- Make it crystal clear why someone should work with you?
- Make people smile while doing it?
No?
Then it’s time to rethink your strategy.
Focus on content that SELLS.
(And maybe throw in a dad joke every now and then.)
The rest is just vanity metrics.

P.S. The truth hurts sometimes. But so does not making sales.
